The Art of Esme' Glenn
My interests wander back and forth from
Ancient legends to modern science,
From star-life to plant-life,
Faces
And exploring color.— Esme' Glenn
FROM MAMA JO
A Word on the Artist
When my siblings and I were young enough not to have a choice in what we were going to do on vacation, our mother, Esme’, insisted on visiting every art museum within 100 miles of our actual destination.
“Happy wife, Happy life” must have been Dad’s mantra as we all endured the interruption of good times to go look at paintings by some dead person we had no knowledge of OR any desire to learn about.
- People who contribute beauty to this world are worth learning about.
- To form independent thought and opinion while realizing differences of opinions do not necessarily mean one is right and the other wrong.
- To look for and expect meaning beyond surfaces.
